Day 0: Pune → Bhubaneswar
Board your flight from Pune/Mumbai on the 19th to Bhubaneswar. Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, transfer to the hotel, complete the check-in formalities, and relax after your journey.
After breakfast check out from hotel transfer to Puri. En-Route Visit Dhaulagiri (a famous Buddhist destination where Mauryan Emperor Ashoka renounced the path of violence and embraced Buddhism, after witnessing the devastation of the Kalinga war & also known as “Peace Pagoda” ), Pipili (Applique Work Village), Sakhigopal Temple (Sakshigopal Temple formerly known as Satyabadi Gopinatha Temple is a medieval temple dedicated to Lord Gopinatha located in the town of Sakhigopal ), Check in to the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed towards Chilika Lake.
Chilika is one of the largest brackish water lagoons in Asia, spread across an area of approximately 1,100 sq. km. During winter, the lake attracts a large number of migratory birds.
At Satapada, enjoy a boat ride through the natural habitat of Irrawaddy Dolphins with an opportunity to spot these beautiful dolphins. Also visit the Sea Mouth, where Chilika Lake meets the Bay of Bengal.
Note: Chilika Boat Ride is not included in the package cost. The cost is approximately ₹4,800 per boat, with 7–8 persons accommodated in one boat. The cost will be divided among the passengers sharing the boat.
Later, visit Alarnath Temple. In the evening, return to Puri and enjoy leisure time at Golden Beach, followed by shopping.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Bhubaneswar.
Visit the Konark Sun Temple, a magnificent 13th-century temple built by King Narasimhadeva I and dedicated to the Sun God. Renowned for its exquisite architecture, the temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival in Bhubaneswar, visit Lingaraj Temple, an impressive 11th-century temple dedicated to the Harihara form of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. The temple is believed to have been built during the reign of Somavanshi King Yayati Keshari.
Later, check in to the hotel.
First, visit Nandankanan Zoological Park, a famous zoo and botanical garden located near Barang in Odisha, spread across approximately 437 hectares.
Later, visit the Khandagiri & Udayagiri Caves, ancient rock-cut caves associated with the reign of the Mahameghavahana King Kharavela.
After lunch, proceed to Bhubaneswar Airport for your onward journey.
Conclude the tour with beautiful memories of Odisha.
