After Lunch we proceed to Hospet – via Patadakallu & Aihole (If Time Permits), which are also UNESCO sites famous for many temple complexes of Hindu and Dravidian architectural styles.
- Patadakallu to witness the impressive series of temples including the masterpiece 'The Temple of Virupaksha' built by Queen Lokamahadevi to commemorate her husband's victory.
- then proceed to Aihole to explore various temple remains. It is a tranquil village situated on the Malaprabha river's banks and referred to as the 'cradle of Hindu / Dravidian temple architecture'.
After breakfast, explore Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the “World’s Largest Open-Air Museum”
Visit major attractions including:
Kamal Mahal (Lotus Mahal), Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, Royal Enclosure, Queen’s Bath, Virupaksha Temple, Kadalekalu Ganesha, Sasivekalu Ganesha
Enjoy a mesmerizing sunset from Hemakuta Hill while listening to the divine echoes of the Virupaksha Temple. Afterward, explore the local markets for some shopping before returning to Hospet for an overnight stay.
Visit Lakshmi Narasimha, Badavilinga, and Vijaya Vittala Temple (Stone Chariot)
Enjoy a coracle ride in the Tungabhadra River, experience sunset views, and local shopping
After lunch, begin return journey to Pune
