The Bhorgiri to Bhimashankar trek route is through dense jungle and provides many opportunities for nature lovers!! One can see the state animal of Maharashtra Giant Squirrel, in the local language known as “Shekru.” In Monsoon, Bhorgiri to Bhimashankar is the perfect trek for beginners, nature lovers, and photographers. It’s a plain jungle walk of around 3 hours, which ends at “Gupta Bhimashankar.” One has to pass the streams and waterfall to reach the Bhimashankar Temple.

• 10.00 am: After briefing, start a trek.
• 12.30 pm: Reach Bhoragiri and visit Bhoragiri Fort.

• 04.00 pm: Immediately move towards Pune.
• 05.30 pm: Tea on the way.
• 09.00 pm: Reach Pune.

• A haversack or backpack to put in all the things to be carried so that one has one’s hands free while trekking.
