Devkund Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India. Devkund Waterfall is a mostly unknown and unexplored waterfall in Maharashtra.

There are very few perennial waterfalls in Maharashtra like Devkund Waterfall. The forest around the waterfall is beautifully green and dense with many species of animals and birds. Devkund keeps the spirit of nature alive. Your trek will lead you through many unexplored trails. Once you reach Devkund Waterfall, you will be overwhelmed with its beauty and filled with joy.

The white water cascaded down a series of rocky outcrops, giving the effect of many waterfalls rather than just one. Then it flowed on its way, nonchalant as if nothing had occurred.

  • 08:00 am: Reach the waterfall and enjoy some time there.
  • 09:00 am: Start return trek towards base village.
  • 11:00 pm: Reach at base village and lunch.
  • 1:00 pm: Start return journey to Pune.
  • 06:00 pm—approx. arrival at Pune.

Things to carry

  • Trekking is specialist activity Trekking shoes are must.
  • A haversack or backpack to put in all the things to be carried so that one has one’s hands free while trekking.
  • Water (at least 1 Liters).
  • Please wear full-sleeves t-shirts and long pants.
  • Identity proof (must).
  • Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, biscuits, etc. For energy while you trek. Glucon D / energy bars.
  • Avoid wearing gold and other ornaments.
  • Medicine those if you require usually.
  • Odomos gel or cream to avoid mosquitoes or insect.
  • Raincoat.
  • Extra pair of clothes and slippers.

Notes

Strictly prohibited : Bluetooth speaker, headset, music, alcohol and smoking.
